Join us Thursday, October 7th at 6:00PM to hear Brad Jones, Archeology Division Director and State Archeologist for the Texas Historical Commission, speak on the Stone Age Peoples of Texas. Immediately following his lecture will be a panel Q&A with local archeologist Pam Stranahan from The History Center for Aransas County and marine archeologist Justin Parkoff with The Texas Maritime Museum. You will have the chance to hear of archeological projects in the Coastal Bend and what their impact means for society today.

Hummingbird Feeder Class

Thursday September 16th, 1:00 - 2:00 PM

In honor of Rockport’s 33rd Annual Hummerbird Celebration, Fulton Mansion is hosting a Hummingbird Feeder Class. Learn to make your own feeder using recycled glass bottles, copper wire, beads, and more.

Class is limited to 30 participants. Reservations required. Sign up today! Details below.

Music at the Mansion 2021

You've asked for it, and we've got it! BACK this summer is Music at the Mansion with three nights of entertainment, FREE of charge! Enjoy views of Aransas Bay from the lawn of the beautiful Fulton Mansion State Historic Site while listening to bands from the local area.

This event is family and pet friendly (dogs must be leashed)! It is recommended that you bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Concessions from Toscano Burgers & More and Fulton Kettle Corn will be available for purchase.

Tuesday, July 13, 2021: 6:00pm-7:30pm Mike Guerra & Trisum
Tuesday, August 10, 2021 7:00pm-8:30pm Red Tide

Music at the Mansion is available to visitors FREE of charge, courtesy of the Friends of Fulton Mansion. Donations will be accepted.

Music at the Mansion 2020-June- Dean Adamson

Music at the Mansion is back again this summer with THREE nights of wonderful music, FREE of charge! These events will look a little different this year in order to abide by site COVID-19 guidelines, so please make sure to read all of the information.

-10'x10' spaces will be marked off on the lawn with proper distance between them. They will be available for reservation for each of the summer shows. You will have to check in with a staff member when you arrive. They will give you a flag or sign and you will place it in your chosen space. Spaces are first come, first served for those with reservations.

-You MUST call ahead to reserve your household space at 361-729-0386 EXT 30.

-ONLY ONE HOUSEHOLD UNIT PER SPACE.

-If you show up without a reservation, we will do our best to accommodate you, but preference will be given to those with reservations and if we don't have availability you will not be able to stay. (We hate it too!)

-Masks strongly encouraged.

-The concert will be available to watch from home on Facebook Live!

Home for the Holidays: Fulton Mansion Grand Reopening Event

It's time to come "Home for the Holidays" and celebrate the Fulton Mansion's grand reopening after 2 years of post-Hurricane Harvey repairs.

Join us from 2:00pm until 8:00pm with activities for the whole family including:

2:00pm Ribbon Cutting and Announcements
3:00pm-5:30pm Self Guided Tours of the Mansion featuring our volunteers and Rockport Little Theatre; Musical entertainment by David & Barbara Brown and The Independent Thieves; Activity booths with Aransas County Historical Society, Texas Maritime Museum, the City of Rockport Parks Deparment, Aransas County Public Library, and more; Pictures with Santa!
5:30pm Ceremonial lighting of the garden
6:00pm Caroling with Rockport Fulton Middle School Choir
6:30pm-8:00pm Self Guided Tours of the Mansion and pictures with Santa!

Stop by the Fulton Mansion during the evening from December 14th until January 6th to see the beautiful garden lights.

Hello everyone, we are still in need of a few items for our Telephone History program. Please take a gander at the list below and see if you have anything you’d like to loan or donate. We especially need an older style touch-tone phone and old yellow and white pages.
